How long does it last?

SMP is permanent, however the ink will fade over time so it is recommended a top up session is carried out every 3 to 5 years. Avoiding sunlight and chlorine. Daily moisturising will help keep the ink from fading. It is important the area is looked after in the weeks following your SMP treatment. A full care sheet will be given post treatment.

Is it safe?

All equipment used during the procedure is 100% sterile and needles are disposed of immediately after each session. Aftercare will ensure the best results are achieved.

How long does it take?

An average client requires 3 sessions, with each session taking around 3 hours to complete.

Does SMP hurt?

It is mildly uncomfortable but this will vary from person to person.

Does SMP stimulate hair growth?

If you have no hair in the affected area no hair will grow where SMP has been performed. However hair will grow through the SMP where there is existing hair as it gives the skin a 3D effect of hair.

How long do I need off work following SMP?

You can go to work straight after but you need to keep your scalp dry.
